Joint stock company (UAB) “DEKRA Industrial” perform the whole range of destructive and non-destructive testing as a nuclear and a conventional energy industry, hardness testing machines and optical emission spectrometers calibration and ultrasonic and eddy current flow detectors, Charpy testing machines inspection.
Training and certification of personnel was carried out at Sweden, the UK, USA, Canada, Denmark, Russia, and Belarus.
The company is located in the town of Visaginas (Lithuania).
History
In 1985, the structure of the INPP was established a separate unit Metal Inspection and Technical Inspection Department.
Field of activity
- organizing and conducting in-service inspection of metal equipment and pipeline;
- examination of equipment and pipe line damage reason, including:
- fatigue damage;
- corrosion damage (general, pitting, inter-granular, trans- granular corrosion, erosion-corrosion wear);
- operational controls in the manufacture of equipment, piping and steel products;
- welder and welding procedure qualification tests.
In 2006, This Department was accredited as testing laboratory according LST EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
In 2008, was founded Joint stock company (UAB) AF Inspection LT on the basis of the Metal Inspection and Technical Inspection Department of Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant.
In 2010, connection with the change of ownership July 28, 2010 have changed the name to JSC “DEKRA Industrial”.
In 2010, JSC “DEKRA Industrial” organized by the verification and calibration of instruments and equipment for metal control. Company accredited as calibration laboratory according LST EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and as inspection body according LST EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012.
In 2011 opened branch in Mazeikiai (Lithuania).
At present time JSC “DEKRA Industrial” renders services in destructive and non destructive testing of metal, verification and calibration of instruments for testing metals in enterprises of Lithuania, Latvia, Finland and Sweden
